Moonblade
Powers:
The bright blade dedicated to the moon goddess Luna has several powers and abilities. It's alignment is neutral good and is a willing servant of any good or true neutral being. The blade is magically sharp but it has the same moody temperament of the goddess herself. Every day, roll a six sided die. Minus one from the result. This is the total bonus of the blade for that day. This applies to both to-hit rolls and to damage. If the roll is 1, resulting in zero, roll a four-sided die. This represents the negative bonus that blade will have that day. When the sword has a negative bonus, you will not be able to use any other blade that day. You can rid yourself of the blade only through a dispell magic, but doing so will cause the blade to magically disappear. The bonus of the blade doesn't effect any other power of the blade.
The blade can also cast a Moonbeam once a day. This spell causes a pale light beam to emanate from the sword one foot wide and 30 feet long. Any being caught in the light must save versus spells or be confused, as the spell. The Moonbeam has no effect in full natural sunlight.
The blade has one additional power. In the hilt of the blade is a gold disk. It can be removed and will appear as any local currency, equal to the value of one gold piece. It will not radiate magic or be discernable from any other normal gold coin. At the end of the night, the gold coin will magically teleport from its current location to the hilt of the sword.
